Graduation Central: Chelsea High Class of 2026 Commencement

Everything you need to know about the upcoming graduation ceremony for Chelsea High School seniors

Chelsea Public Schools will celebrate the Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony on Friday, June 12, at 6:00 PM on the Chelsea High School football field.

Graduates from Chelsea High School, Chelsea Opportunity Academy, and Chelsea Virtual Learning Academy will be honored during the outdoor ceremony, with families invited to attend and celebrate this milestone.

Graduates should arrive at Chelsea High School by 4:30 PM for announcements and to get organized for the ceremony. Families will be allowed onto the field starting at 4:30 PM and should arrive by 6:00 PM to ensure you see the entire ceremony.

For parking, families can park in the two parking lots under the overpass near the school (next to Carter Park and the smaller parking lot across the street). You will then be directed to the football field through the baseball field. Families will not be allowed in the building after the end of the school day.

Please remain in your seats throughout the ceremony unless you need to use the restrooms, which will be set up outside.

Students will be proceeding back into the building after the ceremony. We will ask families to remain seated until all graduates are back inside. At that point, families will be directed to the baseball field to wait for your graduate.

Important Reminders:

• Please do not bring balloons or umbrellas to the ceremony.

• There are no tickets for Graduation. Entry is free and all are welcome.

• The ceremony will be livestreamed on the Chelsea Public Schools YouTube Channel and Facebook Page.

We are so excited to celebrate our amazing Class of 2026!
