Michael G’s Trattoria has brought a familiar Chelsea name back to the local dining scene, reopening at 22 Adams Street in February 2026. Owner Michael Giannasca is a Chelsea native and Chelsea High School graduate who has spent decades in the restaurant business. When the original Michael G’s opened on Revere Beach Parkway in 2020, Giannasca told the Chelsea Record that he wanted to stay connected to his hometown and work with other Chelsea businesses. After that location closed in 2025, Michael G’s returned as the smaller Trattoria concept at the former Tambo 22 space.
