Montes Jewelry is a family-owned Chelsea business started in 2018 by mother-and-son team Rosa Reyes and Armando Montes, according to the company. The shop at 275 Broadway offers gold and silver jewelry, custom orders and repairs, plus Bulova and Citizen watches.

Armando was also one of three volunteer judges at Chelsea's July 2026 Car Show and Marketplace.

The Brown Jug has been serving Chelsea, by its own account, for more than 50 years. The Revere Beach Parkway pizza spot is known for thin-crust pizza and homemade calzones, plus more than 25 beer varieties, a patio and a lively sports bar.

Chelsea seniors are helping shape Kayem Park’s renovation by knitting and crocheting sections of an artistic shade sail. The owners’ experiences adopting dogs and working with rescue horses helped shape the mission. Their cowboy-bar concept welcomes different musical tastes, with a portion of proceeds intended for rescue organizations. An opening date has not been announced.
